The word Qigong (pronounced Chi Gung) is actually made up of 2 words. ‘Qi’ meaning the subtle energy that moves throughout the universe and through our body and ‘Gong’ which is the word for hard work or high skill. So putting them together, Qigong is the practice of cultivating or working with these energies or simply put ‘Energy Work”.
