What Is Holistic Microneedling?

Holistic Microneedling is the performance of cosmetic skin needling using a hypoallergenic derma roller or a derma stamp. The rollers contain only very small needles and we use only natural substances.

The majority of patients who have experienced the use of the derma roller/stamp agree that the procedure was relatively painless. Nevertheless, treatment is usually avoided during and just before the menstrual period as the hormonal changes may increase the skin sensitivity.

A cosmetic acupuncture consultation looks like this:

A consultation to find out what your concerns are and what your skin is like. Cosmetic acupuncture is not just about your face, we also want to know if there are any underlying health conditions that you are experiencing that might be related to your skin.
A skin cleanse to prepare.
Use of the Jade Roller where appropriate.
Application of hypoallergenic derma roller/stamp to the desired area.
Application of Organic Skin oil to soothe and close the pores.
Sessions will be alternated with body acupuncture to treat the root of your skin problems.

The complete process of a cosmetic acupuncture consultation will take about 40 min for your initial consultation and 30 min for follow ups.

The benefits of cosmetic acupuncture can be explained on 3 levels:

The needles stimulate the circulation and blood flow in the skin resulting in a glowing look. This effect is immediate so even after one or two sessions you will be surprised how healthy you look.

How often do you need to have cosmetic acupuncture?

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we believe how we look on the outside reflects the state of our health on the inside. To help promote the best aesthetic outcome, it is highly recommended that over the course of cosmetic treatment, body acupuncture is also implemented to correct any inner disharmony (physiological or emotional) which may contribute to the condition. For Skin rejuvenation, Scarring, Stretch Marks and Cellulite: 6 sessions of fortnightly cosmetic acupuncture, alternated with 6 sessions of fortnightly body acupuncture (optional) over a total period of 12 weeks. Followed by a treatment break of 2 months and a review. For Hair Restoration: 6 sessions of weekly treatment then review

How much does cosmetic acupuncture cost?

The value for money of cosmetic acupuncture is excellent compared to other cosmetic procedures.

An initial consultation and treatment is $250 which includes your personal skin needling kit (a derma roller/stamp, a roller cleanser and an organic skin oil/serum or hair restoration spray) which is valued at $125-135.

Follow up cosmetic treatment is $160 and the body acupuncture sessions are $105.
